Secret War is a 14-minute long documentary that follows the emotional journey of two veterans, Shannon Gray and Roger Boudreau as they try to cope with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder since returning home from the war in Afghanistan.
Mental illness is often silenced in the military, yet suicide has taken more Canadian lives than the war Afghanistan. The War Horse Project uses equine therapy as a way for soldiers to find peace and maybe a companion along the way.
